  • What happens in a Consultation call or meeting?
In your free 30-minute consultation, we will discuss what brings you to therapy and some of the symptoms you may be experiencing. We will also talk about what you hope to gain from counseling and how I can best support you on your journey. I will share the modalities I typically use, my style and approach, and answer any questions you have about therapy and the process.
  • How do we know we’re a good fit?
The consultation call is focused on determining if I’m the right therapist for you. It is important to find the right therapist. One way to determine the right fit is to see what therapist specializes in to see if it aligns with your goals. If you are looking to work on concerns that I specialize in including trauma, self-compassion & self-esteem, anxiety, or ADHD and are interested in somatic-based, trauma-informed modalities then we may be a good fit. I will offer transparency if I do not specialize in the areas you are interested in working on or if my specialization doesn’t align with your goals and the outcome you are seeking. If this is the case, or you feel it is not a good fit for you I will provide some outside referrals that may work for you.
  • How do we meet?
I’m currently offering Telehealth sessions through HIPAA complaint virtual platforms. This is something we can discuss during the consultation as well.
  • How long are session and how often do we meet?
It is recommended that we meet for 50 minutes weekly, especially at the beginning of our work together. 90-minute sessions also available for biweekly meetings depending on need and schedule availability. Schedule and frequency is determined by your unique needs. We can discuss your needs and what works best for you!
